理論研究室

理論研究室以新進博士科研人員為主體,以天體物理學為主攻方向形成了較為合理的學術梯隊。目前,研究領域涵蓋了光通訊、規范理論、小行星物理、實測天體物理、中子星物理。共有科研人員4人,其中副研究員2名、助理研究員2名;其中博士4人。發表SCI論文50余篇,EI及核心論文20余篇。 

    

研究方向 

1.光通訊 

光與原子的相互作用的很多現象,譬如慢光、光存儲、靜態脈沖等,對量子通信和量子計算有重要的意義。而光誘導的光子晶體是實現全光控制的有效手段之一。基于光誘導光子靜態的光二極管在量子計算方面有很大的潛在價值。對于光誘導光子晶體的反射光的研究在科學與技術層面都是必要的。 

室內光通訊方面的科研集中在:基于激光與原子之間的相互作用的慢光、光存儲、靜態脈沖以其壽命、光誘導光子晶體的反射現象中的 Goos-Hanchen 位移、以及光子軌道角動量對在光與物質之間的相互作用的影響。 

2.規范場理論 

拓展廣義相對性原理研究范圍到強相互作用,借鑒彎曲時空中龐加萊規范理論,發現矢量介子張量項能被洛倫茲群的規范方法定義。此方向工作對準確描述中子星中核物質間的相互作用有重要的意義。 

3. 小行星物理 

小行星物理主要的研究對象包括各種類型小行星的大小、自轉狀態、物質組成、表面物質光學特性、內部結構等基本物理性質及其相互關系。通過這些物理性質的觀測與理論研究,試圖揭示太陽系小行星長時標演化的物理機制,提供太陽系形成初期原始太陽星云物質成分與環境信息的線索。 

4、實測天體物理 

實測天體物理是現代天文學研究中發展最快的領域之一。本著發揮研究所觀測設備優勢,結合天體物理學前沿方向,以及與行星科學、地球科學等學科交叉需求,我們選擇行星物理實測研究作為本研究室實測天體物理研究的主要突破口。目前,我們已經開展了太陽系小天體形態學及其表面物質特性等方向的實測研究內容,并將進一步開展太陽系外行星系統測光觀測和太陽系小天體分光觀測等一系列行星物理基本性質實測研究。 

5.中子星物理 

20171016日,全球多國科學家同步舉行新聞發布會,宣布人類第一次直接探測到來自雙中子星合并的引力波,并同時“看到”這一壯觀宇宙事件發出的電磁信號。這將中子星的研究再次推向高潮!中子星是脈沖星的理論對應體,它是恒星演化的最終產物。近年來對脈沖星熱演化的天文觀測愈來愈精細,特別是PSR J1614-2230PSR J0348+0432 的發現,使得脈沖星質量上限增加到約2倍太陽質量,這對中子星狀態方程提出了新的挑戰。室內中子星物理的科研集中在:中子星相結構、冷卻和熱演化性質等。
